Cancellation Policy

As a professional salon, BUNGALOW/8 Hairdressing employs a Cancellation Policy. The salon kindly requests to be contacted at least 24 business hours prior to a client’s scheduled appointment (48 business hours prior to a Saturday or Holiday appointment) as a courtesy to the stylist and to allow the salon to potentially accommodate the needs of other guests. Failure to cancel an appointment (no-show), cancellations without 24 business hours notice, or recurrent appointment rescheduling will result in a full-price charge of the scheduled appointment.

BUNGALOW/8 Hairdressing requires that all new guests provide a credit or debit card number to secure their initial and on-going appointments. Additionally, we may request current guests of the salon to provide a credit or debit card number to secure future appointments. The request for this information may be, in part, due to wedding or special event scheduling, requesting a “standing appointment” schedule (where many appointments are scheduled weeks, months, or a year in advance), or because of recurrent no-showed appointments or last-minute cancellations.

All financial information is securely maintained in our dual-firewalled and encrypted software system. Our internal computer network is professionally managed by qualified IT professionals who maintain all antivirus and antispyware protections ensuring that these applications are running effectively and are up-to-date. As an added layer of security, all BUNGALOW/8 employee access is password protected and permission-based. This access, paired with our IT policies and procedures, add even more protection allowing us to safely manage sensitive financial data. Lastly, only our Management Team has access to full financial information housed within our computer system. Employees below management level may only view the last four digits and the expiration dates of any credit or debit cards added to guest profiles.

To maintain the security and integrity of our internal computer network, we have established an independent WI-FI system for our guests. To access our password-protected WI-FI on your personal devices and computers, please choose the network named “BUNGALOW8 GUEST” with password “bungalow8”. If you require assistance with accessing WI-FI while in the salon, please do not hesitate to ask a member of our Styling staff or a member of our Ambassador team.
