Rebecca Forsyth has built her career on the love of decadent femininity and a quest for complete knowledge of hairdressing. Referred to as the “Purveyor of Glamour,” Rebecca continues on a never-ending journey to provide clients with their own individual signature whether that look is altered frequently or remains an unchanged classic.
Beginning her career as an assistant to a stylist with extensive experience in some of Chicago’s finest salons, the door was opened to Rebecca’s feverish love of haircolor. She is a Certified Haircolorist, an honor earned by few hairdressers and bestowed by the American Board of Certified Haircolorists, and has educational experience from some of the industry’s finest institutions both nationally and across the globe. She spends her days dreaming of the possibilities that lie in each tube and bowl of color. Rebecca pairs those daydreams with advanced color education and technical experience.
Rebecca regularly works with several local photographers where she creates suitable hair and makeup for print advertisements, lookbooks, and fashion spreads both on a local and national scale. In addition to her editorial work, Rebecca is the Beauty Director for online fashion outlet Hello Holiday and works tirelessly to perpetuate beauty for all women.
As a lover of life’s frills and fineries, Rebecca gravitates toward a vintage aesthetic and has a great interest in the classic art of hairdressing. She is dedicated to educating her guests on dressing their own hair at home through behind-the-chair guidance and in-print tutorials that can be found on popular style blogs as well as her own internet home, www.rebeccaforsyth.com
