| Sarah Zito, a Lincoln, Nebraska native has built her hairdressing career with precision and true focus. Beginning as an apprentice for Dove Shannon at Dove Shannon, A Salon in Lincoln, she learned the true art of haircutting and scissor work. She progressed in her career by gaining advanced education and experience through the Toni&Guy Academy, Wella Color Professional Studio in New York, and Bumble and bumble University, also in New York. Sarah has also gained her certification in providing the Keratin Smoothing and Express Blowout service. A true testament to her passion for haircutting resides with her training with Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco. Sarah is passionate about sculptural detailing and the architecture involved in haircutting. She also believes in creating rich color that seamlessly transitions through trend and season. Sarah believes that hair color brings together harmony in tones, interest to the hair form, and compliments the features of an individual. Additionally, Sarah believes in creating a personalized look for each client; organic to their style while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair. Sarah continually strives for a higher level of excellence in her craft, expanding her professional experiences, and looks forward to evolving her burgeoning editorial and fashion styling work. Her editorial work can be seen on the covers of metroMAGAZINE and HER Magazine, in photoshoots with Laurie&Charles Photography, as well as on the heads of models in Omaha Fashion Week. As a stylist with over 8 years of experience, Sarah provides in-house inspiration, technical education, and support as a Network Educator between Bumble and bumble and BUNGALOW/8. Also, being our Bumble and bumble product expert, she finds her favorite products being Thickening Hairspray and Sumowax. Used in progression or alone, both products provide an endless range of possibilities on all lengths, textures, and styles. |
