| Michelle Beran is Omaha’s Avant Garde beauty. Melding her inspiration from fashion blogs, street styles, and androgynous looks has helped her to offer a broad spectrum of creativity to all clients. She loves anything Bohemian, earthy, and lived-in. Hairdressing is most exciting to her when Michelle has the opportunity to collaborate with other people’s ideas and her own vision; Michelle loves to see her work as living art. Being a hairdresser for over 5 years, Michelle has had the opportunity to receive extensive color and cutting education through TiGi Professional in New York and Dallas under renowned names such as Thomas Osborn, Richy Kandasamy, and Heath Grout. Her technical prowess allows her to offer expert services while her creative and artistic passion for hairdressing delivers true design transformations. In addition to being a talent with color and shears, Michelle creates styling and make-up wonders for photoshoots, editorial pieces, fashion shows, and lookbooks across Nebraska. To stay at the top of the industry, Michelle has become dedicated to education. She is committed to continually evolving through education offered at some of the nation’s most prestigious academies such as Bumble University and Vidal Sassoon as well as through in-salon classes and mentorship. Michelle regularly provides peer direction, motivation, and leadership as an important component of the BUNGALOW/8 Hairdressing team. When not providing services to clients or creating editorial masterpieces of hair and make-up, Michelle is a lover of music, tattoos, and Thai food. Her comfortable, laid-back sensibility allows her to be open to inspiration from almost anyone, anything, and anywhere. When cutting, coloring, or styling, Michelle believes in recommending professional products for professional results; even at home. Her Bumble obsessions include Does it All Hairspray which allows her to… do it all, and Hairpowder to create a great, lived-in texture. Pairing these styling “must haves” with the transformative power of Kerastase shampoos, conditioners, and treatments helps Michelle make a marked difference in the integrity and quality of her guest’s hair. |
